Why are we here?

Do you ever find yourself wondering why we are here – or even how we got here in the first place? You’re not alone. Lots of people, at some stage in their lives, ask themselves “what is the meaning of life?” and “what is it really all about?”

You may come across all sorts of suggested answers, but if you’re looking for a truly meaningful and practical answer, you don’t have to look any further than the Bible.

The Bible gives a very clear message about why we exist. It can help us to make sense of our lives now, and it gives us a real and very positive hope for the future. In fact, if you look a little closer, you may well find that the Bible contains some unexpected and challenging answers to the questions you’re asking. It still stands alone in giving hope and providing hard evidence for those thinking about faith.

Some people feel that the Bible is only a book written thousands of years ago which has no relevance to their lives today – so they never find out what it really says. In reality, the Bible is very much a book for today and modern day problems. The God of the Bible is very much in touch with His creation, and cares enough about it to have allowed His son to put his own life on the line for it. His answers about life and the after-life are timeless. His plans for the future are compelling.

So here you’ll find signposts and offers of help which may just suit you.
